Know where every car earns.

Run each vehicle as a rental unit with its contracts, deposits and maintenance log, so you see what every car brings in and what it costs to keep on the road.

What gets in the way

The problems we hear most.

01

Deposits are hard to track

Security deposits are taken in cash or by card, and refunds depend on someone's memory.

02

Maintenance is reactive

Services and repairs are logged on paper, so a car's true running cost is unknown.

03

Availability lives in one person's head

Staff call around to find out which cars are free next week.

The apps you would use

BookingThe rental calendar shows which vehicles are free for the dates the customer wants.
HandoverThe contract is issued, the deposit is recorded and the first invoice goes out.
On the roadExtensions, extra days and charges are added to the same contract.
ReturnThe car is checked in, the deposit is refunded or applied, and the maintenance log is updated.

Questions

Asked by owners like you.

How are deposits recorded?

A deposit is recorded as an advance against the contract. At return it is refunded, or part of it is applied to extra charges, and the books show exactly what is still held.

Can we see the profit of each car?

Yes. Rental income, maintenance costs and depreciation are tracked per vehicle, and job costing brings them into one profit view.

Do you track vehicles by GPS?

No. Prospera does not include telematics. Your tracking provider stays in place, and readings can be entered or brought in through the REST API.
