Industries / POS and retail

Every piece, gram and karat on record.

Each piece carries its own serial number, weight, karat and stones. Your team sets prices per karat in price lists, and every sale, buy-back and transfer is posted to the books.

What gets in the way

The problems we hear most.

01

Pieces tracked on paper

Weight, karat and stone details sit in a ledger book, so checking a single piece takes minutes.

02

Prices change every day

Gold prices move daily, and staff recalculate each tag by hand with room for error.

03

Showroom transfers lose track

Pieces move between showrooms and the workshop with no signed record of who holds what.

How it works

A day in Prospera.

MorningA manager updates the per gram price for each karat in the price lists, and tags reflect it across every showroom.
SellingThe piece is scanned by serial number, its weight and making charge build the price, and the receipt carries the full detail.
Buying backOld gold brought in by a customer is weighed and recorded as a purchase, with its karat and weight on file.
ClosingEach showroom's stock is listed piece by piece, with total grams per karat, ready for the evening check.

What is included

Everything you need, on one record.

  • Serial number on every individual piece
  • Custom fields for weight, karat, stones and certificate
  • Per gram price lists per karat, updated by your team
  • Making charge kept as its own line
  • Customer buy-backs recorded as purchases
  • Transfers between showrooms and workshop with full history
  • Stock reports in pieces and in grams per karat
  • Approval before discounts above a set limit

Good to know: Prospera does not pull live gold prices from the market; your team updates the karat price lists, as often as you choose.

Questions

Asked by owners like you.

Can the price follow the daily gold rate?

Yes, through your price lists. Your team enters the day's per gram price for each karat, and every piece is priced from its weight and that rate.

Can I record stones and certificates on each piece?

Yes. Custom fields hold stone type, weight, certificate number and any other detail you track, and they appear on the receipt if you want.

How do I see what each showroom holds?

Every piece has a serial number and a location, so you can list stock per showroom in pieces or total grams at any time.
