What gets in the way

The problems we hear most.

01

Prescriptions in folders

A returning customer's last prescription is in a paper file or a different system.

02

Lab jobs with no tracking

Lens orders go to the lab by phone, and nobody knows which are late until the customer arrives.

03

Deposits that get lost

Customers pay a deposit on order and the balance on pickup, and the two are hard to match.

How it works

A day in Prospera.

ConsultationThe customer's prescription is entered in custom fields on their record, dated and kept for next time.
OrderingFrame and lenses are sold on one order with a deposit, and the lens job becomes a work order for the lab.
In the labThe work order moves through its stages, and lens blanks used are deducted from stock.
PickupThe balance is collected at the till, the e-receipt is issued and the job closes.

What is included

Everything you need, on one record.

  • Prescription details in custom fields on the customer
  • Lab orders managed as work orders
  • Deposits and balance payments on one order
  • Frames tracked by brand, model and color variant
  • Contact lenses tracked by batch and expiry
  • Purchase history of frames and lenses per customer
  • WhatsApp messages when glasses are ready
  • Loyalty points for repeat customers

Good to know: Prospera holds prescriptions as customer details, not clinical records; eye examinations stay in your clinical system or paper file.

Questions

Asked by owners like you.

Can I see a customer's previous prescriptions?

Yes. Prescriptions are stored on the customer with their date, so staff can compare the current one with earlier visits.

Can I track jobs at an outside lab?

Yes. Each lab job is a work order with a status and due date, so overdue jobs are visible before the customer calls.

How do I handle contact lens expiry?

Contact lenses are stocked by batch with an expiry date, and reports flag stock nearing expiry.
